- BMI Baby, the remaining part of BMI that was not acquired as part of BMI’s sale to British Airways has shut down, leaving about 450 people out of work.

- Nigeria’s Dana Air, which had been shut down in June after a crash that killed more than 150 people, has re-launched following a clean safety inspection. Or so they say.

- Two British Airways pilots have been suspended after a drunken fight at a hotel bar in Rio during a layover.
