I’m a Jersey boy (well, at least I was for the first 18 years…and then for some scattered months when I had no place to live other than in my childhood bedroom), and so I’m going to allow myself to get a wee bit excited about Frontier’s announcement that they will serve Trenton, with 2 weekly flights to Orlando.
Two weekly flights? Sure – that’s the type of schedule you might expect when KLM announces new service to Zimbabwe (wait, checked Google – KLM serves Harare, Zimbabwe 3 times a week). Also, those flights have different departure times based on the day. Whatever. The fine folks in Central New Jersey are, I’m sure, just happy to have an option to fly twice a week to someplace from the unused airport sitting right in their backyard.
Frontier will be the first commercial service to Trenton since Boston-Maine Airways (dba Pan Am Connection) departed the fine city back in 2008.
Frontier’s service launches November 16th.
