About the Continental OnePass Credit Card Going Away…

You may have read on every single site on the internet about the Continental OnePass credit card disappearing and how now is the last time you can apply, etc.

I wanted to give a shout out to Daraius at Million Mile Secrets for having an extremely level head about this whole thing. As he writes here, applying now could prevent you from getting a larger bonus in the future. You can read the details in that post, but I wanted to call it out as a smart way of thinking about why skipping this offer may be the best move for you.

  1. Good post. I was wondering why the other bloggers weren’t offering the same wise caution as Daraius.

  2. Definitely. Kinda makes one wonder if it’s all about the referral bonuses.

  3. Definitely. I thought his rundown was excellent.

  4. Hi. So can you help me with my confusion?
I’ve had the onepass card a long time. I don’t want it to automatically turn into the United Mileage Plus Explorer card because I want to get the bonus on that card and I’m not ready for a churn yet. And I don’t want to cancel my CO card right now. Will they automatically turn it into the united card and I’ll lose my chance for a bonus?

  5. One of those posts that are very telling about the integrity and true intent of a particular blog. Keep up the good work guys.

  6. I’ve had a one pass card for years. I can’t find ANY info to see if my balance carries over to a United Card. I wish to travel Christmas and can not find an answer from any of the carriers.
