30,000 Point Chase Freedom Bonus on $500 Spend Is Back (OFFER NOW EXPIRED)

Looking for an additional 30,000 Ultimate Rewards points? Here’s an option: you can get a 30,000 point bonus when you spend $500 in 3 months with the Chase Freedom card if you apply through this link (OFFER NOW EXPIRED).

If you have a Chase Sapphire Preferred card, you can transfer those Freedom points into Ultimate Rewards on a 1-to-1 basis.

The Freedom card typically comes with a 20,000 point bonus, so this is an easy way to get an extra 10,000 points. Remember, though, you can ONLY transfer those Freedom points into Ultimate Rewards if you have a Sapphire Preferred card.

(Disclosure: I do not get a bounty if you apply for the Freedom card through the link in this post. I will get a bounty if you apply for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card.)

  1. your link shows $300 bonus cash back for the Chase Freedom card and not 30,000 bonus miles which I’m more interested in. Did I miss something?

    • The $300 bonus is given to you as 30,000 Freedom points. That can be redeemed as $300 or, if you have a Sapphire Preferrred card, it can ne transferred to Ultimate Rewards as 30,000 points in that program.
