TSA to Expand PreCheck Trusted Traveler Program to United/Continental Elites

A couple of months back the TSA rolled out PreCheck, a program designed to let certain travelers breeze through security without having to take off their shoes, belts and whatever else they seemingly randomly request that you remove prior to going through security.

The program was available to Delta and American first class and Elite flyers traveling through Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit and Miami.

Beginning next year, TSA is rolling the program out to United/Continental first class and Elite travelers. That won’t be all that helpful until they introduce PreCheck at their hub cities, but they do plan on expanding to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Minneapolis in the coming year.
