AARP Rewards Visa from Chase Offers 5% Cash Back on All Purchases for 6 Months

This isn’t new, but no one is talking about it: The AARP Rewards Visa from Chase is offering a 5% cash back on ALL purchases for the first 6 months that you have the card. Plus, there’s no annual fee.

That’s a ridiculously good offer, especially as people head into the heavy spending Christmas season.

Yes, I know, you’ve opened a lot of Chase cards. That could be a problem. But if you haven’t, there is no way you’re beating 5% cash back on every purchase.

You don’t need to be an AARP member to qualify.

Learn how to choose AARP credit card and get rebates, cash back and more benefits at CreditCardsGuidance.com.

  1. Is there a cap on the amount of cash back you can earn? I looked it over and didn’t see one. Now I’m wondering why this card doesn’t get talked about more. Essentially it is a 5% cash back on everything card for 6 months. Churn it and burn it. Am I correct?

  2. How do I redeem my AARP rewards. I have called, I have gone on the Internet, and I CANNOT get the answers. All I want to do is redeem my points. How in the world do I do it? I am not stupid, but I am not totally internet proficient either.

    • Redeeming AARP reward points is very easy:

      1. Just log onto your AARP Visa account;
      2. Choose “Redeem Awards;”
      3. Pick the Rewards Category drop down menu item of “Cash and Savings; and,
      4. Choose from $25 to $100 increments of either a check or an account credit.
