A drunk man traveling on an 11-hour Jetstar flight from Auckland to Singapore decided to urinate in the aisle of the plane about halfway through the trip, spraying his effluvium on a passenger’s leg and a woman’s scarf.
I think this passenger summed it up: “I hear this sound of running water and then I hear a guy going ‘No, no, no, what the hell is wrong with you?'”
Strangely enough, the airline let him off with a warning and did not call the police when they arrived in Singapore.
The passengers on the receiving end of the shower were even more upset, as they claim that the airline did little to help them, while staff members laughed about the incident for 20 minutes before offering any assistance.
This editorial suggests that this is just one in a long line of poor customer service stories from the lowfare arm of Qantas.
