Should I Be Disappointed that Spirit Airlines Sent an Email with the Subject Line “Have You Seen Our Weiner?”…

…Or would I have been more disappointed if they did not?

And yes, it’s advertising their “Weiner Sale with Fares too Hard to Resist” promotion. In case you didn’t get that, they put HARD all in caps in the email.

  1. may be funny but not appropriate. Spirit will be on the bottom of my list for a while.

  2. It seems like half the world things it’s crass (a camp I fall into), and half love it.

    But, regardless, EVERYBODY has seen the ad!

    So I guess the strategy works.
