Everyone (ie, all the blog nerds like me) is writing about this today: British Airways is once again offering a 100,000 mile bonus for signing up for their credit card and spending $2,500 in the first 3 months (link here). You have to pay the $95 annual fee, but it’s still an amazing offer. BA miles are usable on any Oneworld airline (that’d be American Airlines in the US). Remember, though that BA charges rather harsh fuel surcharges ($400+ to Europe, more to other destinations) on their own flights and award tickets on American. Even so, there are lots of ways to use these miles without getting hit with fuel (35k miles gets you to Hawaii on AA, for example).
