24 Hours of Global Air Travel in 1 Minute

Mar 13th, 2009 | By Jared Blank

This is pretty cool:  A visual simulation of the whole world’s airline traffic over the course of 24 hours, condensed into 1 minute (see it here).  For airline dorks, it’s extremely, extremely cool (watch the inflow of overnight flights into Europe from the west morph into an outflow of flights to the US).  I know, dorky.  But cool.

(Thanks, Matt for the head’s up).
