JetBlue to Pay Man $240,000 for T-Shirt Based Descrimination

JetBlue has been ordered to pay $240,000 to a passenger who was wearing a t-shirt that had “We Will Not Be Silent” written on it in English and in Arabic (I’m guessing the English part was not the problem). Apparently TSA and JetBlue staff initially would not allow him to board the plane (brilliant – keep fighting those t-shirt terrorists), but then they allowed him on the plane but would only allow him to sit in the back (I know, that doesn’t make any sense). The passenger, with help from the ACLU, filed suit and was awarded $240,000 in damages.
