China’s Okay Airways to Shut Down

China’s Okay Airways will shut down its passenger service this month, focusing instead on its cargo routes. You should be interested (on some level, I guess) because Okay Airways was China’s first private airline. Private doesn’t mean unregulated, however, and as you might guess, it’s rather difficult to succeed when the government is helping out competitors.
