Yes, Your Flights into LaGuardia Are Usually Late

Jul 8th, 2008 | By Jared Blank

The Wall Street Journal has an interesting piece about flight delays and the conclusion is that this summer is as bad as last summer (for the most part).  The most interesting stat?  If it feels like you’re delayed every time you fly into or out of New York, you’re half right:  Flights into Newark and LaGuardia were delayed 48% of the time in June, with an average delay of 81 minutes at Newark.  For those of us in the Northeast, it’s going to be another looooooong summer.
