India’s Supreme Court to Rule on Indian Airlines’ Handlebar Mustache Firing

Feb 12th, 2008 | By Jared Blank

A few years back, Indian Airlines fired a crew member for wearing a handlebar mustache (which he had been wearing since 1968, which suggests perhaps he should’ve shaved the mustache by the time he was fired in 2001).  Now, the Indian supreme court is getting involved and seems to be siding with mustache man, saying “How can somebody be removed from a job because of the size of his moustache?”

(I know this is a stupid story, but I found it amusing…)
