Want to Be the First to Fly on Singapore’s A380?

Singapore Airlines is auctioning off seats on its inaugural A380 flight on eBay… Before you freak out, proceeds are going to charity. The flight will take place some time in October and fly from Singapore to Sydney.

To me it’s very interesting to see how businesses, here Singapore Airlines, are using Ebay for their auctions and marketing strategies. Do you think this kind of auction type advertising partnership is successful and that this avenue will become more popular for companies on the Internet?
