Gore and Staff Skip Airport Security… For a Bit

Mar 2nd, 2007 | By Jared Blank

Former next-President-of-the-United States Al Gore and two staffers were permitted to skip passing through security at Nashville’s airport on Wednesday.  An American Airlines employee led Mr. Gore and his group past security, only to be seen by an airport official who (correctly) made them go through security.  Gore reportedly had no complaints about having to follow the rules.  I’ll assume this won’t get blown out of proportion, but if you start hearing about this elsewhere, remember that it was not Gore’s choice to skip security — it was an American Airlines employee’s choice.
