All-Business Class Airline to Fly Newark to Paris

Dec 4th, 2006 | By Jared Blank

It’s looking like 2006 will be remembered as the year of the all-frills, low-cost airline.  With Eos, Maxjet and soon-to-launch Silverjet flying between New York and London, a new airline called L’Avion has announced it will begin flying between Newark and Paris on December 27.  If you care about this kind of stuff, you may recall an announcement a few months ago about Elysair — L’Avion is the new name for that airline.  The carrier will feature 90 seats in a 757-200 and charge about $2100 round trip.  Good luck with all that.
