Varig to Change Name to Nordeste

A great era in aviation is over: Brazil’s flag carrier Varig, which launched in 1927, will disappear and change its name to Nordeste following a reorganization. On the plus side, it’s going to double the number of aircraft it flies. Sad to see a longstanding name in aviation disappear.
