$49 Fare from Chicago to Newark

I’ll give a bit of credit where it’s due: AirTran has really helped to drop fares out of Chicago. It has a 2-day sale starting today that has $39 fares from Chicago to Boston and $49 fares from Chicago to Newark. Before AirTran came along, the Newark fares started at double that price. What a deal. If you’re flying these routes, help support AirTran (or fine, fly on AA or UA and keep your precious miles. I’ll be honest, that’s what I’d do. I’m just keepin it real.)
