American Airlines: We’re Making Bad Choices

This story is why I never get tired of this industry:

You may remember a story from last week where airlines can now fly nonstop from Dallas-Love Field to cities in Missouri.  Southwest then announced nonstop flights to St. Louis and Kansas City from Dallas Love.  American also said that they would begin flying nonstop from Love to St. Louis.  Just about anyone who gives a damn about these types of things noted that this was a ridiculous or "misguided" move.  Well, now even American thinks it wasn’t so smart.  Says their spokesperson, "We agree that it’s a bad choice…"  I certainly appreciate the candor…
