Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways Will Launch in November

Sep 15th, 2005 | By Jared Blank

With all of today’s news about bankruptcies, I thought you’d want to know that it’s not stopping low fare airlines from popping up all over the world.  Kuwait’s first budget carrier, Jazeera Airways, will begin flying in November from Kuwait City.  Ticket prices on the airline’s fleet of A320s begin at about $34, and they will fly to Dubai, Damascus, Amman, Beirut and Bahrain with 30 weekly flights.  India and Saudi Arabia will be launched soon.  Tickets are about half the cost of other carriers in the region.
