Virgin Oil?

Sep 14th, 2005 | By Jared Blank

Richard Branson told CNBC yesterday that he is interested in building an oil refinery as a way of dealing with the recent high oil prices.  He said that he’s willing to invest $2 billion in the project, which he’s hoping to undertake with investments from other airlines (who will never do this, incidentally).  Branson said he could foresee oil going to $200 a barrel. (no, he’s not prone to exaggeration or anything).
