Northwest Airlines, Operated by Champion?

When your airline says no, Champion says yes…

Northwest Airlines is considering outsourcing some of its flights to Minnesota-based Champion Air if the carrier faces a strike by its mechanics.  Given Northwest’s old planes and lack of frills, its likely no one will notice.  The union’s cooling off period ends August 19th and the carrier could see a strike soon after.
