Officials at Boston’s Logan Airport are trying to quash Continental’s free Wi-Fi access in its President’s Club lounge, claiming that it is interfering with its own $7.95 wi-fi service (cheapskates like me know that the free wi-fi leaks into the hall outside the President’s Club, so you may find me sitting on the ground by the doors of the Club enjoying my free internet). This is, of course, complete nonsense, as apartment dwellers like me know that wi-fi from neighbors regularly leak into my own apartment, with no negative consequences. Logan Airport officials just don’t like free access being available. Bravo to Continental for sticking it to the man. The man being Logan Airport.
