Bomb Scare on Southwest Flight

Aug 8th, 2005 | By Jared Blank

A Southwest Airlines jet landed in a remote part of Houston Hobby airport on Friday after a note with a bomb threat was found on board.  No bomb was found (of course, or you would’ve heard about it before now), but a there was a crumpled note that said something about there being a bomb on board.  Investigators say the note could have been several weeks old (in other words, the bomb was no longer on board).  Regardless, the flight continued to Corpus Christi without incident.
