Almost 40 Injured on Korean Air Flight

Jul 15th, 2005 | By Jared Blank

Nearly 40 passengers were injured when a Korean Air 747 hit clear air turbulence on a flight from Bali to Seoul. Only one of the passengers suffered a serious head wound. Please wear a seatbelt. Really. People have a fear of flying based on the nearly improbable idea that a plane will crash. The plane will not crash. However, the plane might hit turbulence, and if you’re not wearing a seatbelt, you’re going to get hurt. You should have a fear of that. Wear your seatbelt.
