Northwest Raises Fares on Connecting Flights

Jul 14th, 2005 | By Jared Blank

Northwest Airlines basically raised fares on connecting flights by announcing that they will no longer cover the PFC charges (usually in the $4.50 range) on connecting flights. In other words, if you flew New York to LAX on Northwest, in the past they would suck up the airport fees for the stop in Detroit. Now they won’t. Not a huge deal, but I thought you might want to know.
