London Update

I always feel that the articles discussing the impact of a terrorist act on the airline industry are a bit grizzly and inappropriate. Yet, I understand the precarious situation faced by most US airlines, so I’ll pass on what others are saying about yesterday’s London bombings. In general, most analysts feel that we’ll see a slight decline in traffic to London in the short term, but that travel will return to normal sooner rather than later, and that airlines will see little impact on their finances. Please don’t cancel your plans…

Actually, while US airlines are allowing passengers to change their travel dates to London, the customer-friendly team at El Al have told travelers that they are not permitted to change their London tickets. El Al takes no shit from terrorists.
