Cambodian Airport Closed After Accident

Jul 6th, 2005 | By Jared Blank

In my second Cambodia-related story in as many days, Siem Riep’s airport (the airport serving Angkor Wat) was closed Tuesday after a Vietnam Airlines A320 skidded off the runway. None of the 90 passengers, primarily European tourists, were injured, but there is no word on when the airport will re-open.
