Iraqi Airways Baghdad-Basra Shuttle
Jun 23rd, 2005 | By Jared BlankThe NY Times has a pretty good article about the $75 Iraqi Airways flight between Basra and Baghdad. This is news because the trip aboard the 727 is Iraqi Airways’ first domestic flight since the start of the war. Apparently they do serve Sprite and cake. Which is more than Northwest serves. Having worse service than Iraqi Airways is probably not something they’ll tout on their website.
In somewhat related news, Iraqi Airways will soon begin nonstop flights from Basra to Dubai.
