Singapore Airlines Accused of Bribery

Australia’s Labour Party has accused Singapore Airlines of attempting to bribe Aussie politicians to gain favor in their talks over access to the Australia-US air market.  Singapore Airlines supposedly offered free trips to Singapore to the members of the commission deciding whether to grant the airline access to the lucrative air market.  Singapore’s officials, of course, deny the charge.
