Easyjet to Provide Airport Lounges

Jun 7th, 2005 | By Jared Blank

Easyjet will take a step not taken by any lowfare carrier and offer lounge access to customers at 33 airports in Europe.  For GBP12 ($22), travelers can purchase lounge passes online and enjoy free drinks (though for $22 it’s not quite free).  I’d be surprised if we didn’t see a lowfare carrier (Airtran?) make a similar move here.
