Don’t Blow Those United Miles Yet

It looks like we’ll have United to kick around for a while…The airline averted what would have been a life-ending strike by coming to terms with its ramp agents and customer service employees as well as its mechanics.  The airline was seeking nearly $300 million in cost savings from these employee groups, who will see their pay cut 3.9% and reductions in sick time and holiday benefits.  On the plus side, they have jobs.
