A380 Launch Delayed

May 4th, 2005 | By Jared Blank

Airbus announced that after its initial test flight last week, the A380 launch will be delayed by several months.  Singapore Airlines, which was supposed to receive its first A380 next spring, will likely not receive it until fall.  Qantas and Emirates, which were scheduled to take delivery in October, 2006, are still expected to receive the planes on time.  No word yet on the reason for the delay.
