Continental: Delta’s Fares Have Hurt Us

Continental said yesterday that Delta’s fare restructuring will cost them $200 million a year.  They noted that the lowered fares have not resulted in an offsetting increase in passengers.  Worse, they said that the additional passengers they are carrying actually add operating costs, making the Delta move that much more painful.
