BA’s CEO to Step Down

Mar 7th, 2005 | By Jared Blank

British Airways CEO Rod Eddington will step down from his post some time this summer.  The Times of London said that BA’s shortlist for a successor
included Tony Tyler, chief operating officer of Hong Kong’s Cathay
Pacific; James Hogan, who runs Gulf Air; and Willie Walsh, the former
CEO of Aer Lingus.

UPDATE: BA named former Aer Lingus exec Willie Walsh as their new CEO.  There you have it.
