The Seattle P-I is reporting that the new Boeing 7E7 will be renamed the 787 because, no joke, 8 is a lucky number in China. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the 707, 717, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, and 777 being taken. And nothing to do with sucking up to Chinese airlines. Whatever works…
