Continental Under Fire in France

Dec 9th, 2004 | By Jared Blank

Officials at Continental are none too happy to hear that they are being summoned to France as part of an investigation into whether Continental and several of its employees should be held responsible for the Concorde crash four years ago.  You may remember that a piece of a Continental DC-10 had fallen onto the runway at CDG, then struck the Concorde on takeoff, causing the crash of the supersonic jet.  Continental says it is "outraged" that they are under investigation.
