JetBlue and Chicago, Again

Dec 6th, 2004 | By Jared Blank

I realize this is the 3rd time I’m writing about this in 2 weeks, and each time I say something different, but I swear I’m just passing along the news…JetBlue now says that they are, in fact, interested in ATA’s gates at Chicago (as well as their slots at LaGuardia).  There’s a good deal of confusion about whether ATA can sell its gates at Chicago; ATA says is can, but the city of Chicago says the airline cannot.  If it can sell the gates, AirTran has already purchased them, if they cannot sell the gates, JetBlue, Southwest and America West will all be interested.  To be continued…
