Employee Airline Perks Changing at AA, US Airways

American Airlines is offering extra travel benefits to employees who voluntarily leave the carrier. Employees who leave can choose between higher severance or longer travel benefits. The offer does not apply to pilots.
US Airways has told 200 former executives and board members that they can no longer fly confimed in first class for the rest of their life. This group will now receive unlimited coach travel, with space available first class upgrades. This does not affect you at all.
