Independence Air Warns of Bankruptcy

Independence Air, the revamped lowfare carrier based in DC, warned that it may face bankrupcty (already?) if it cannot renegotiate $83 million in leases on 50 of its aircraft.  The carrier has already defaulted on an $8 million payment on an A319.
