Today’s piece notes that, gasp!, travel sites sometimes bias their results in favor of companies with whom they have a financial relationship, and, get this, different travel sites will offer different prices for the same hotel room. That is a shocker. Did you know that Circuit City and Best Buy will have the same item at different prices? And that Sony will pay them to put their CD players right out front?
