A new high-tech security scanner at Heathrow can apparently see through your clothing and project an image of you naked. That is, assuming you walk through it. It’d be very disturbing if it could see through your clothing while you were nowhere near Heathrow.
Passengers don’t seem to mind (as it is used in a private area), but British civil libertarians are up in arms, saying that the scanner is a "voyeur’s charter." I don’t know what that means. I suspect it’s bad, though.
