TED to Offer DVD Rentals

Oct 13th, 2004 | By Jared Blank

United’s lowfare carrier TED will begin offering onboard DVD rentals to its passengers. The cost will be $12. JetBlue gives you live TV for free, Frontier offers live TV for $5, but somehow, someway, TED expects to get $12 for DVD rentals. Keep in mind that most TED flights are in the 2-3 hour range, and I won’t be surprised when I hear that they lowered the price to five bucks.
