Japan Airlines to Offer Onboard Internet

Oct 13th, 2004 | By Jared Blank

Japan Airlines will offer onboard broadband internet service to customers on its London-Tokyo flights beginning December 9th. The service will cost $9.95 for 30 minutes, or $29.95 for the entire flight. The airline noted that they will add the service to US-bound flights soonafter. I’d gladly pay $30 to keep myself occupied for 14 hours.
