Southwest to DFW?
Oct 4th, 2004 | By Jared BlankSouthwest Airlines saidon Friday that it is considering taking over the DFW gates that Delta will be forfeiting in the coming months. Southwest has always pooh-poohed the though of moving to DFW (it currently flies into Dallas-Love field), though this may be an opportunity that’s too good to pass up. As American is never one to let a new competitor enter its markets without a huge fight, I wonder if AA will rip out its first class seats and stop serving food as a way to compete. Oh wait, all the airlines are already doing that.
Well, I certainly hope American fights like hell to keep Southwest out of DFW.
