No Food on Delta

Sep 22nd, 2004 | By Jared Blank

If you’re flying on Delta today, bring a snack. The airline is in a contract dispute with its caterer, leading to a famine on Delta flights. Perhaps not a famine, but there’s no food or drink.

Delta has the most pathetic announcement on their website, noting:

We are currently experiencing a problem with service on most of our flights that offer meals serviced by one of our caterers. This may also affect beverages and snacks.

Experiencing a problem???? The problem is that there is no food or drink. Shouldn’t they have mentioned that?
