Continental OnePass Changes

Sep 15th, 2004 | By Jared Blank

A quick update on a post from yesterday: Continental will only offer half Elite credit for discount fares on SkyTeam partners. Northwest will offer full Elite credit for discount fares on SkyTeam partners.

This, of course, is a hunk of nonsense. Another, possibly bigger, hunk of nonsense is Continental’s fees for mileage upgrades on international flights. Upgrading to BusinessFirst will, in addition to the required mileage, now cost $900 round trip. You read that correctly, $900 on a discounted fare. Keep reading that. Insane.
