US Airways Update

Talk about not being able to catch a break…US Airways’ pilots union refused to let its members vote on the airline’s latest proposal targeting about $295 million in cuts. The pilots said that the airline was asking for the pilots to give back an excessive amount of pay, benefits, and changes to work rules. Management continues to insist that without an agreement, the airline will declare bankruptcy again. On the positive side, both sides said they are still willing to talk.
