Iraqi Airways to Take Off Soon

Iraqi Airways made its first test flight in more than a decade, shuttling crew members from Amman, Jordan, to Baghdad in a new Boeing 737. The airline hopes to begin passenger flights in two weeks or so. Several low fare carriers have entered the Middle East recently (notably Air Arabia), but it will be a while before we see any competition in Iraq.
